The Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is famous for introducing unique smartphone designs that are totally different and the company has now released another unique patent for a unique phone which is equipped with removable camera module.

Removable Camera Phone

The 91Mobiles released this patent in which it is shown that the phone has full display and lacks front camera because the back camera can be removed and used as a selfie camera. The main camera housing consists of multiple sensors. The camera is vertically arranged, but can be used in various orientations as a selfie camera. The technology is not confirmed on which this system works but it is likely to have magnets to perform this function.

The patent also reveals the multiple camera layouts. One is pill shaped dual camera setup and other one is quad camera setup in circular shape. The patent has not shown the complete image of the phone. It is not yet confirmed about this unique design but Xiaomi is set to launch its foldable phone this year.
