To show off at CES 2014, ZTE brought a handful of products and from projectors and smartwatches to your run-of-the-mill flagship, they range. The Grand S II leads the pack. As the company announced, the sequel features 3000mAh battery, 13MP rear camera, Snapdragon 800 and a 5.5” 1080p display. On when and where it plans to launch the device, ZTE hasn’t made any official announcements but for US, we’re expecting the availability.

The new Grand S II features ZTE’s custom skin on Android 4.3 and is a fast device. Multiple voices can be recognized by its voice control capabilities and it is also completely customizable. Like the Moto X, you can verbally unlock the screen completely. It’s possible to add your trigger phrases without any training, as told by ZTE. The phone was able to recognize process command and voices. It is expected to improve as it takes some time.

The removable plastic back of the device looks smooth and classy and looks like brushed metal. The kind of plastic wasn’t confirmed by the ZTE but as a little bit of pressure on the back resulted in a cracking, so it is difficult to stand the test of time.
