Of the Ascend Mate 2, we recently posted some pictures from less than ideal angles but to Huawei’s upcoming phablet, now there’s an entire photo gallery dedicated.
To give a better idea of the aesthetic changes the Chinese manufacturer put into the newer device, the photographer take pictures of the mate 2 with the original Mate smartphone. The Mate 2 has a more curved backside and is slightly thinner. However, under the hood are the most intriguing updates.
2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 1.6GHz quad-core processor, and a 13MP primary camera. However on the Mate 2, it has been reported that the screen will not be updated. As the original Mate, it’ll most likely support the same 6.1”, 720p display. It is expected that at CES 2014, which takes place from Jan 7-10, the Mate 2 will debut.
