For a new affordable smartphone called Ascend Y530, Huawei announced the upcoming availability. The Ascend Y530 runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean customized with Huawei’s own Emotion UI, while it succeeded the Ascend Y300 and Y511 models from last year.
The new handset features, a 1750mAh battery, 4GB internal memory with microSD card slot, 512MB RAM, VGA front-facing camera, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, HSDPA and a 4.5” display with 480×854 pixels. The smartphone weighs 145 grams, measures 132.5x67x9.3mm and is powered by a processor of 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200.
The photos unveiled by Huawei shows that Ascend Y530 has a two-color interesting design and will be available in 4 versions of: white with grey, black with yellow, black with red and black with grey. At young users, the Y530 is targeted by Huawei. For a suggested retail price of $200, it will be released first in Germany, starting March. Probably, the price will soon go down after launch.
