Meet the Redmi Pad SE, the latest addition to Xiaomi’s budget-friendly tablet lineup. Making its global debut, this device offers a generously sized display for an exceptional visual experience, all at a budget-friendly price of just €199.
Powered by the capable Snapdragon 680 chipset manufactured using the advanced 6nm process, the Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE also provides ample internal storage at 128 GB, with expandability up to 1 TB through a micro SD port. It offers a choice of RAM capacities: 4 GB, 6 GB, or 8 GB.
Featuring an 11-inch LCD panel, the display boasts a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz. With a brightness output of 400 nits, a contrast ratio of 1500:1, and TUV Rheinland certification for low blue light emissions, the visual experience is exceptional.
Running on Android 13 with MIUI Pad 14 overlay, the tablet weighs 478g and offers dual-frequency Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.
The front boasts a sleek bezel hiding the 5 MP front-facing camera, while the rear accommodates an 8 MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture capable of recording 1080p videos.
Enhancing the multimedia experience, the Redmi Pad SE is equipped with “large-size quad speakers,” Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res audio support. It retains the traditional 3.5 mm audio jack.
The tablet features a USB-C port for charging the 8,000 mAh battery, limited to 10W charging capacity.
Available in Lavender Purple, Graphite Gray, and Mint Green, pricing starts at €199 for the 4 GB model, €229 for the 6 GB model, and €249 for the 8 GB variant. Certain retailers will offer dedicated covers in Black or White for added comfort and protection at an undisclosed cost.
