Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Pad as a pioneering tablet in the Redmi series last October, and it’s now poised to welcome the SE model. While Xiaomi remains tight-lipped about the Redmi Pad SE, a recent leak has left little to speculation by uncovering the tablet’s specifications, anticipated pricing, and design.

Leaked visuals offer a glimpse of the Redmi Pad SE in three captivating shades: gray, green, and purple. The tablet’s foundation rests upon an 11″ FullHD+ LCD featuring a 90Hz refresh rate, 400 nits peak brightness, and a pixel density of 207 ppi. Dual cameras adorn its façade – a 5MP f/2.2 sensor at the front and an 8MP f/2.0 sensor at the rear. Notably, the tablet will embrace the FocusFrame functionality, ensuring subjects stay centered during video calls.

Underneath its exterior, the Redmi Pad SE will house the Snapdragon 680 SoC, accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will debut with the Android 13-based MIUI for Pad, and its operations will be powered by an 8,000 mAh battery, charging via a USB-C port at up to 10W. The tablet promises up to 21 hours of video playback and 12 hours of uninterrupted gaming.

Reports suggest the Pad SE will showcase a sleek metal unibody design, weighing 478g and measuring just 7.36mm in thickness. Its features will extend to a 3.5mm headphone jack, along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. While LTE support and a fingerprint scanner are absent, this aligns with the trajectory of its predecessor. Notably, the Redmi Pad SE will harmonize with the Redmi Stylus for Pad. Renderings also affirm the inclusion of quad speakers, Dolby Atmos support, and a microSD card slot for expanded storage.

The Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE is projected to be priced around €190 in Europe, a notably competitive offering compared to the Redmi Pad’s base model priced at €279 in Europe for 3GB RAM and 64GB storage. As Xiaomi ushers in the Redmi Pad SE, anticipation continues to build for this next-generation tablet.
