Japanese Multinational Corporation Sharp jumps into the Smartphone industry and launching its first flagship phone of the year ‘Sharp Aquos R5G’. The company decided to launch the device in spring but now it will be unveiled after some delay. Sharp is providing Snapdragon 865 SoC as very few devices in the industry come with this feature.
Design and Display
The display size of the Sharp Aquos R5G is 6.5-inch QHD+ IGZO display featuring 1440 x 3168 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For selfies a U Shaped and another notch at the bottom and built the display on top of the physical home button. The mobile is housed with quad sensor camera at the back. The Sharp new device also comes with stereo speakers. It will come in blue, white, and Samsung’s Aura Grant-like color-shifting variant.
Internals and Storage
The Sharp Aquos R5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chipset topped with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of US 3.1 storage. The storage is expandable and can be expanded up to 1TB. Bluetooth 5.1 and WiFi 6 along with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio will also be featured in the device. It also comes with Adobe Photoshop Express pre-installed. The software of the Sharp Aquos R5G will be Android 10.
Cameras
The camera specs of the Sharp Aquos R5G are 12.2 MP + 48 MP + 12 MP + ToF primary and 16 MP Secondary camera featured with Aquos beauty mode. The company claims that the Telephoto lens and the primary lens featured in cameras have optical image stabilization as well as electronic image stabilization. Some special features in camera are also given like AI live story, AI live shutter, and focus playback.
Battery and Pricing
The Sharp Aquos R5G is powered with a battery of 3,730 mAh and its fast charging feature is not yet confirmed by the manufacturer. The price of the phone is also not given till.
