With today’s official announcement of the Nokia 108 and 108 Dual SIM – its latest camera-rocking feature phone, Nokia continues its march in the affordable phone market.

The company says the phone is perfect “for people purchasing their first-ever camera phone”, as Nokia 108 sports a 0.3MP fixed focus camera of VGA resolution. The software side of the phone offers the legendry Snake game, an MP3 player and a FM radio as well. Additionally, the handset features a microSD card slot, supporting cards of up to 32GB.

At the front, there’s a 1.8” 64k color LCD display with a resolution with 160×128 pixels. Nokia 108 is quite compact and weighs just a hair under 70 grams and measures 110.4 x 47 x 13.5mm.
Nokia says the 950mAh battery is good for nearly 41 hours of music playback, 31 days of standby and 13.8 hours of 2G talk time.

The Nokia 108 will be available in black, white and red at launch, with cyan and yellow to follow later on. Both Nokia 108 Dual SIM and Nokia 108 has price of just $29 (excluding taxes and subsidies). Some time in Q4 this year, expect Nokia’s latest feature phone to start shipping.
