HMD Global Introduces Latest Nokia Feature Phones: Nokia 150 (2023) and Nokia 130 Music, HMD Global is making waves in the feature phone arena with its latest offerings – the stylish Nokia 150 and the music-centric Nokia 130.

The Nokia 150 2023 is a seamless blend of aesthetics and sturdiness. Crafted from colored polycarbonate, the phone boasts a body that’s resistant to flaking or scratching, eliminating the need for paint. Its IP52 rating ensures protection against dust and water drips, adding a layer of durability.

Enhancing its appeal, the phone sports a textured back panel and non-metallic metallic-finish function keys on the front. While retaining the expected functionalities, the doesn’t stray too far from its predecessor, the 150 model from three years ago.

The front features a 2.4-inch 240 x 320px display, with the phone running on the Nokia OS S30+. To capture memories, the phone accommodates a microSD card of up to 32GB for storing photos taken with its 0.3MP camera and MP3 files. Entertainment is further enriched by an onboard FM radio receiver and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Fueling the device is a removable 1,450mAh battery, rechargeable through microUSB (USB 1.1). The package includes a charger, ensuring 20 hours of talk time or 30 hours of continuous music playback.

Despite its advancements, the Nokia 150 (2023) retains its 2.4-inch display, feature phone OS, and 1,450mAh battery, accompanied by the familiar microUSB charger. A shift to USB-C would be a welcome progression for these basic phones.

Both models are set to hit Indian markets, available both online and in physical stores. The Nokia 130 Music arrives in Dark Blue and Purple variants, priced at ₹1,850. An additional Light Gold version can be acquired for ₹1,950.

As the premium option, the Nokia 150 (2023) comes in at ₹2,700, regardless of color – Charcoal, Cyan, or Red.

It’s worth noting that both phones operate exclusively on 2G, supporting dual SIM functionality across the 900 and 1800 bands.

The Nokia 130 Music, as its name suggests, revolves around audio. Trading its camera for an amplified loudspeaker, this model provides an immersive music experience. Like the Nokia 150, it supports MP3 playback via a microSD card (up to 32GB) or FM radio. The phone’s 3.5mm headphone jack contributes to the audio experience, and a headset is included in the retail package for added convenience.
