An event was held in Lahore couple of days before in which the flagship Android device ‘Nokia XL’ has officially been launched in Pakistan by Microsoft Devices (Nokia).

Due to excellence in both the performance and size, Nokia XL can be called a big brother of previously launched Nokia X.

The design layouts of XL and X are similar except the larger size of Nokia XL. With a rather low resolution of 187ppi, the phone features a 5” IPS screen on the front. But Nokia XL has good viewing angles and the screen is vivid and bright.

A 2MP camera with proximity sensor and earspeaker is present above the screen of Nokia XL. Both home and back functions are controlled by a single touch key, located below the screen. Nokia XL back side is featured with a centralized speaker grille near the bottom and a 5MP auto-focus camera with an LED flash light.

On the top, there is a 3.5mm headphone while on the bottom there is presence of USB port. A 2000mAh battery, two micro SIM and one microSD card slots are present under the removable shell.

The only difference between the hardware specs of Nokia X and Nokia XL is the increase of RAM in XL. 768MB RAM, 4GB expandable memory up to 32GB and Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz dual-core processor are the important specs of Nokia XL.

An important property on the software is AOSP 4.1.2 with a customized interface also known as Nokia X platform. It is run by Nokia XL.
