Vivo, known for its groundbreaking innovations, is currently working on something truly remarkable behind the scenes. Online leaks and rumors are suggesting a groundbreaking camera setup for the upcoming Vivo X100 Pro, and the latest leak from Digital Chat Station has confirmed the technical details.

The standout feature of this setup is undoubtedly the 100mm periscope lens, designed with a wide f/2.5 aperture specifically for mastering low-light photography. This lens will excel in capturing the night sky and dimly lit scenes with exceptional clarity.

But the camera module doesn’t stop there; it also houses the OmniVision OV64B, a 64MP sensor with impressively small native pixels measuring just 0.7µm. With support for 4-in-1 pixel binning and native 2x digital cropping, this handset takes smartphone photography to new heights.

And that’s not all – Vivo has partnered with the renowned Zeiss to equip its latest 5G model with the prestigious Vario-Apo-Sonnar lenses. The primary sensor, a customized Sony 53MP marvel with a 1/1.43″ sensor, promises to capture scenes with incredible detail.

But the story doesn’t end there. The Vivo X100 series has more in store for its users. In addition to the vivo X100 and X100 Pro (coming soon in November), the formidable X100 Pro+ is set to arrive in early 2024.

The X100  Pro+ version boasts camera hardware that outshines the competition, featuring a jaw-dropping 200MP telephoto camera, a 1″ IMX989 primary camera sensor, and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with a custom V3 ISP chip to handle image processing.

Vivo’s iQOO lineup is also stepping up its game with the iQOO 12 Pro, equipped with a 5x periscope OV64B sensor and a sensational 50MP OV50H sensor. The iQOO 12, on the other hand, shares the same primary sensor but may skip the periscope, both powered by the formidable Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
