Xiaomi  is set to make its official announcement in China on August 14, showcasing the much-anticipated Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 alongside the Redmi K60 Ultra and Pad 6 series. While teasers have hinted at the folding phone’s features previously, we’re now granted our inaugural official glimpse.

As part of its ongoing teaser campaign, Xiaomi has released marketing visuals for the Mix Fold 3. These images provide a comprehensive view of what was previously partially disclosed in teaser materials. Take a look at the image below to catch the details.

The Mix Fold 3 retains the iconic sleek design of its predecessor, the Mix Fold 2. Although it remains uncertain whether it will surpass the size of the Honor Magic V2, the current thinnest folding phone on the market, the Mix Fold 3 maintains its slim form factor. The presence of a punch-hole cutout for the inner selfie camera indicates the absence of under-screen camera technology, at least for now.

The rectangular camera island that spans the phone’s width remains a distinctive feature of the Mix Fold 3. This time, however, it accommodates four distinct camera lenses arranged in a square layout at the corner. The familiar Leica branding continues to be prominent, with the main camera bearing the label “VARIO SUMMICRON lens” sporting an aperture range from f/1.8 to f/2.9.

There’s speculation surrounding a completely revamped hinge for the new folding phone. If this assertion holds true, it’s likely that the teaser campaign will provide confirmation.

Xiaomi has confirmed two color variants for the Mix Fold 3: Black featuring a leather finish and Gold with a glass back panel. Regrettably, the Mix Fold 3′s availability outside of China seems unlikely, leaving prospective buyers with the option to import the device.

Stay tuned for the official unveiling of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, accompanied by the Redmi K60 Ultra and Pad 6 series, on August 14. This event promises an array of exciting innovations and features, setting the stage for Xiaomi’s latest offerings.
